Next-Gen Nostalgia: The R36 MAX Handheld Game Console

The R36 MAX Handheld Game Console is a powerful open-source portable device engineered for the ultimate retro gaming experience. Built around the high-performance Rockchip RK3326 CPU and the Mali-G31MP2 GPU, this console delivers fluid emulation across a vast library of classic platforms, making it the definitive choice for enthusiasts seeking both power and portability.

Dominate your favorite retro titles on the crisp 4-inch IPS display featuring a 720x720 resolution, which provides vivid, color-accurate visuals that make classic games look better than ever. The console runs on a Linux-based Open Source operating system, giving users maximum flexibility and customization options to tailor the gaming environment to their preference.

Powering extended gaming sessions is the robust 4000 mAh battery, offering 5 to 6 hours of continuous playtime on a single 2-hour charge. With 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM and options for massive storage (up to 22,000 built-in games with the 128GB option), the R36 MAX is ready to play right out of the box, supporting a comprehensive range of systems including PSP, PS1, N64, GBA, and NEOGEO.

Squinting at tiny monitors ruins the joy of retro emulation. This portable system provides a bright 4-inch IPS panel and ergonomic grips to prevent hand fatigue.
